PSE is well known for its gPROMS ModelBuilder custom modelling environment, which has been used for reactor modelling and other high-fidelity custom modelling activities for many years.
We are now introducing gPROMS ProcessBuilder, the world’s first fully equation-oriented process simulation tool, which combines the power of the gPROMS platform’s custom modelling capabilities with easy-to-use process flowsheeting.
We would like to invite you to a free, one-day workshop in New Taipei City on Thursday, 13 November 2014 to hear more about ProcessBuilder and understand the benefits it could bring to your organisation.
gPROMS ProcessBuilder – Advanced Process Simulation
gPROMS ProcessBuilder brings many new Advanced Process Simulation capabilities that simplify engineering workflows, speed up innovation and help create competitive advantage:
-
libraries of a wide range of robust, quality-assured common and specialist process models – including adsorption, membranes and catalytic reaction
-
steady-state and dynamic operation
-
the ability to combine detailed reactor models with library separation models in the same flowsheet for whole-plant analysis
-
the ability to create custom models to capture corporate knowledge, and use these together with library models
-
equation-oriented power for rapid and robust solution
-
state-of-the-art optimisation capabilities for whole-plant optimisation, including integer decisions such as optimal distillation feed tray location
-
proprietary Model Initialisation Procedures for ensuring robust solution without the need for user-provided initial guesses, even in cases of multiple interacting recycles.
