Distillation is one of the oldest process technologies in existence, but the equation-oriented approach of advanced process modelling can bring new insights. These include new ways to handle old challenges such as converging systems with complex recycles, as well as completely new capabilities such as simultaneous optimisation of design and operation to minimise annualised cost. This webinar will focus on model-based engineering techniques along with case examples of distillation modelling in practice.
